Congratulations to CIBIT chief investigators, Dr Steffen Bollmann and Professor Markus Barth and industry partners Dr Jin Jin and Dr Kieran O'Brien from Siemens Healthineers who were successful in the latest round of ARC Linkage grants. Dr Bollmann and team will receive 3 years funding for their project aiming to overcome one of the biggest challenges in employing artificial intelligence - the “black-box” nature of the models used. The project aims to improve the effectiveness and trustworthiness of deep learning within quantitative magnetic resonance imaging.
